Dr. Robert Melton recently joined Southwestern Hearing Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) at Oxford, Mississippi and his Doctor of Audiology from Auburn University at Auburn, Alabama. Dr. Melton moved to Santa Fe in 2019 to complete his final externship with Southwestern Hearing Center and CHRISTUS St. Vincent.
Dr. Melton helps his patient understand their hearing loss through diagnostic audiology and counseling. He enjoys building personal relationships with patients and providing a service that ultimately improves their quality of life. Dr. Melton is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
In his free time. Dr. Melton enjoys caring for his miniature schnauzer. He recently began taking piano lessons and enjoys hiking around the Santa Fe area with friends.
